HappyHour has appointed Patrick Soric as its new investment and portfolio partner as the firm looks to expand its portfolio in 2024.

Soric arrives with a wealth of experience in the investment banking industry, dating back to February 1999 when he worked for Swedbank as an investment specialist.

On his move to HappyHour, Soric said he was keen to get started with his new team as he looks to use his expertise to improve the firm’s investment strategies.

Soric said: “I am thrilled to join the HappyHour family and look forward to collaborating with my talented colleagues.”

Robin Reed, HappyHour managing partner, said the company’s future plans future aligned well with Soric’s investment background.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Patrick to the HappyHour team. His extensive experience in investment banking aligns with our vision for the future.

“Patrick’s expertise and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities as we continue to grow and evolve,” he concluded.

HappyHour recently invested in digital wallet and cashier solution Fluid, following on from its investment into female-focused startup Betty earlier this year.
