Entain secures HR specialist as non-executive director

Amanda Brown to join FTSE 100 operator in November and also take a seat on the company’s remuneration committee  

Entain has appointed former Hiscox stalwart Amanda Brown to be an independent non-executive director.

The appointment will take effect from 8 November.

Brown most recently served as chief human resources officer at Hiscox where she was a member of the senior leadership team until stepping down last year.

Her HR career also saw her lead human resources at for Marriott Hotels at Whitbread.

Brown previously spent five years with PepsiCo across a series of roles, including as compensation and benefits director.

Brown is currently a non-executive director and remuneration committee chair at restaurant group Mitchells & Butlers.

She also serves as a non-executive director and as chair designate of the remuneration committee at the Manchester Airport Group.

Upon her appointment, Brown will also become a member of Entain’s remuneration committee.

Elsewhere, Entain will report its Q3 results on 2 November.
