Former Kindred Group exec heads to Super Group as new CMO

Super Group has named former Kindred Group exec Elen Barber as the firm’s new chief marketing officer (CMO).

Barber joins the Betway and Spin parent company having left Kindred Group in September last year.

Barber spent 13 years with the Unibet parent company, having originally joined the group as head of affiliates in September 2012

She was appointed head of digital advertising in January 2014 before stepping up to become director of brand marketing in April 2017.

Then, in January 2019, Barber was named CMO and played a key role in Kindred Group’s C-suite, leading a team of more than 500 staff.

She will be based in London in her new role, while she joins an existing senior management team including CEO Neal Menashe, COO Richard Hasson and CFO Alinda Van Wyk.

Speaking to EGR, Barber said: “I’m truly excited to join the executive team at Super Group.

“This is an incredible opportunity to drive growth and innovation in one of the most dynamic companies in the industry.

“I’m thrilled to bring my passion for marketing to the table and work alongside innovative minds.”

Super Group CEO Menashe added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Elen to the Super Group team.

“She will be pivotal in pushing forward our ambitious marketing strategy, building on the strong foundations we already have in place.”

Last month, Menashe, Hasson and Van Wyk sat down with EGR to discuss the operator’s future strategy, including the trio’s plans for the US and what they envisage for the reminder of 2024.
