Sisal named operator of the year at EGR Italy Awards 2023
Italian betting giant scoops six trophies on star-studded night in Rome as Sportradar nabs a brace of awards
Sisal had a superb night at the EGR Italy Awards 2023 after walking away with six accolades including the operator of the year for a fourth consecutive year.
Hosted at the Rome Cavalieri after an action-packed day at the EGR Italy Briefing, the Flutter Entertainment-owned operator dominated the awards in front of a packed crowd.
Alongside winning the coveted operator of the year award, Sisal took home the casino operator of the year, mobile operator of the year, sports betting operator of the year, safer gambling operator of the year and finally the best diversity and inclusion model.
Sisal’s performance even trumped last year’s effort when it nabbed five titles.
Elsewhere, Sportradar scooped two trophies in the shape of software supplier of the year and sports betting supplier of the year.
In the casino content supplier award, Amusnet took home the top prize, with Evolution and Playtech taking silver and bronze medals, respectively.
There were also wins for Entain, 888 and Betsson on the night, while Flows was named rising star.
Optimove retained its acquisition and retention partner of the year title as did Diretta.it, after once again being named the affiliate of the year.
