White Hat Gaming has named former Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) head Justin Psaila as the firm’s new CFO.

Psaila joins the B2B provider after almost a decade with GiG, having been the business’ CFO since July 2015.

During his time with the Malta-based firm, Psaila served as the CFO in charge of operations and reported into the group CEO.

Psaila cut his teeth in the industry during an eight-year spell with Betsson between 2007 and 2015.

He will now lead White Hat Gaming’s finance function ahead of further planned expansion across the US.

Speaking to EGR, Psaila said he was looking forward to working with the White Hat Gaming team to deliver on their US aspirations.

Psaila also described his time with GiG as an “incredible and wonderful ride” as he confirmed his move on social media.

He said: “I am excited to bring my financial expertise to White Hat Gaming and look forward to contributing to the group’s continued success in the online gaming industry and untap the full potential of the group in the US market.”

White Hat Gaming has hit the headlines in recent months after Bally’s elected to use the supplier’s PAM product, alongside Kambi’s sports betting suite, after deciding to ditch its in-house approach.

The firm has made other strides in the US recently, including sealing an exclusive PAM supply deal with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Jackpocket in New Jersey for its online casino platform.
